This week, I turn 47. Ick.

Recently, I have been obsessing a little over my skin and had a brainstorm idea that highlighting my cheekbones and brow bones would help, um, would just help. I visited Blue Mercury in Princeton to see my Trish McEvoy rep. and she recommended this product which I adore.

Did I say make? Sorry, prepared is the more accurate word.

I will always make sure to have these ingredients on hand. It was fairly healthy (it says Lean, afterall, right next to Cuisine)  and inexpensive (grocery store had them on sale for $2 per box) too!

Lean Cuisine Thai Spring Rolls (3 rolls=single serving)
Asian Slaw Mix
Cole Slaw Dressing
Wasabi Paste

Put the rolls in the oven and mix the slaw up with the wasabi paste. Plate the asian slaw and position the spring rolls adjacent or on top.  De-Li-Cious.

Python Cumberbund, No really!

I am bathed in neutrals. God! I almost said "awash". It's ok-- neutrals make me happy and content even when I am standing next to my friends in their splashes of tangerine, hyacinth and aqua. Weird, though, considering I am the clown of the bunch. 


I also love belts and have just recently deboarded the ribbon belt train. I was on that train for a long, long time: J Mac, Buzz by Jane Fox, J Crew--I have been there and I have done that. It was time for a new ride, a real departure, if you will. So here it is....

The python cumberbund. Gasp!  It came in the mail today from ShopBop or was it Top Shop (hmmm?) and although it is a little darker than expected, I actually really like it. I think it will be just right with a slim skirt and nude heels. Oh, and a blouse probably.

Wardrobe Wish List

Just when I said I didn't need anything new. I customized my own stretch rugby shirt from, where else, RUGBY. LOVE LOVE LOVE. I can't show you the one I tricked out, but I will-someday. I also have my eye on a KJP repp bracelet. When I stumble upon $175 next, I will not be able to contain myself. I'm thinking consignor check-plus raiding the loose change chalice, and I'll be in fine shape to indulge myself.
